Texas AEYC Annual Awards
Every year, Texas AEYC honors individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the field of early care and education through our Awards program. Nominations for the following awards must be received by June 1st of each year. Honorees are recognized at the Texas AEYC Annual Conference. The categories for awards are as follows : Classroom Teacher of the Year, Teacher Educator of the Year, Administrator of the Year, Advocate of the Year, Susan Hargrave Trainer of the Year, Texas AEYC Excellence in Leadership Award(which recognizes an outstanding Texas AEYC Board member) To submit your nomination for any of these awards, please complete the award application.
The President’s Trust Fund
The purpose of the Texas Association for the Education of Young Children is to celebrate, educate and advocate for children, families and the early childhood profession. In keeping with this philosophy, the President’s Trust Fund will support educational opportunities for Texas AEYC members currently involved in the enrichment of the lives of young children. A monetary grant of $500 may be used by the recipient to cover expenses incurred for professional and leadership development in the field of early childhood.
