DESCRIPTION:The Accreditation Network is a registered NAEYC Accreditation Facilitation Project. We strive to inform\, educate\, support\, and advocate for quality early care and education through the process of NAEYC Accreditation. The Accreditation Network is open to all who are interested in improving the quality of their programs! Contact the Accreditation Network Chair\, Shannon Saldana at accreditation@austinchapter-txaeyc.org. \nMonthly Meetings 12:30-2:30 pm. Meetings will be virtual with the exception of the November meeting. \nMeeting invitations will be sent out the Friday before the meeting. TXAEYC’s goal is to provide you with the knowledge\, support\, and resources to be an advocate. \nAdvocacy Bootcamp is a 6-week long training being held by TXAEYC staff. Each session will be one hour in length\, and will cover topics such as: \n\nWhat is advocacy\, and what does it look like?\nOverview of the Texas Legislature\nHow can I begin to advocate?\n\nThe sessions will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on the following dates: \nJanuary 17\, 2024 \nJanuary 24\, 2024 \nJanuary 31\, 2024 \nFebruary 7\, 2024 \nFebruary 14\, 2024 \nFebruary 21\, 2024 \nThe cost for this training is $30 for TXAEYC members\, and $50 for non-members.
