Planning for Individualized Instruction Project

TXAEYC is excited to continue the Planning For Individualized Instruction Project. This project led is by TXAEYC in partnership with Teaching Strategies® with funding from the Texas Workforce Commission. Today more than ever, early childhood educators need to know that the children in their care are progressing toward kindergarten readiness. Administrators must also ensure that their teachers have the knowledge and tools they need to promote children’s development and learning and to build strong partnerships with families. Through this project, TXAEYC is partnering with Teaching Strategies to offer a valid and reliable, developmentally appropriate assessment system to eligible providers. The system, Teaching Strategies GOLD®, with the enhanced instructional features of The Creative Curriculum® Cloud, can be used to assess the development and learning of children from birth through kindergarten. 

This project offers early childhood providers access to GOLD® formative assessment, The Creative Curriculum® Cloud, which provides digital access to our developmentally appropriate curriculum and family engagement resources that support individualized instruction, and online professional development. Additionally, early childhood educators will have the opportunity to participate in either in-person or virtual professional development with ongoing implementation support.
