Advocacy Bootcamp

Advocacy is critical to the field of early childhood and is one of TXAEYC’s top priorities. As early childhood professionals, your voices and stories are needed in the conversation. TXAEYC’s goal is to provide you with the knowledge, support, and resources to be an advocate.

Advocacy Bootcamp is a 6-week long training being held by TXAEYC staff. Each session will be one hour in length, and will cover topics such as:

• What is advocacy, and what does it look like?
• Overview of the Texas Legislature
• How can I begin to advocate?

The sessions will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on the following dates:

January 17, 2024

January 24, 2024

January 31, 2024

February 7, 2024

February 14, 2024

February 21, 2024

The cost for this training is $30 for TXAEYC members, and $50 for non-members. As an attendee of all sessions, you will receive 6 hours of training credit. Registration will close on 1/14/2024.
