2025 TXAEYC Annual Conference

| Frequently Asked Questions |

How do I register the TXAEYC Annual Conference?
Registration for the 2025 conference is officially open via the TXAEYC website. You’ll register through the 2025 Annual Conference page HERE, which provides full details on pricing, schedule, and accommodations.

Do I need an email account to register for the conference?
Yes. Each attendee needs a unique email address—that’s how all conference and registration communications will be sent.

Do you offer 1- or 2-day registrations?
Unlike last year, the 2025 conference did offer one‑day registration in addition to the full three‑day rate. Unfortunately, we can no longer offer this option so close to Nov. 6.

What payment options are there?
The preferred payment method is credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover). If your organization requires an invoice, contact Sheila Peevey at ([email protected]); invoices must be paid within 30 days of registration.

How do I register my large group?
Groups of 15 or more should reach out to Sheila Peevey ([email protected]) for group registration assistance and arrangements.

Who can attend this event?
Anyone working to support early education from infancy through primary grades—educators, coaches, administrators, higher ed staff, family providers, advocates, students, family support professionals, nonprofit leaders, and more—is welcome.

How can I earn TECPDS Credit?
The conference is TECPDS‑approved. You will need to pre-register for a TECPDS account here: Sign-Up – TECPDS.  If you believe you have multiple TECPDS accounts, please submit a Help Ticket with TECPDS to merge your accounts to prevent issues with receiving credit for your sessions.

Do I need an email account to register for TECPDS?
Yes, you do.

How many CEUs (training hours) can I get from attending the conference?
If you attend a session during every available block over the three days, you can earn up to 12.5 CEUs total* (3.75 on Thursday, 5 on Friday, and 3.75 on Saturday).

*May change with finalized schedule.

Can I reserve a spot in sessions ahead of time?
No pre‑registration for sessions is required. Sessions operate on a first‑come, first‑served basis, and once capacity is reached, doors will be closed. Typically, there are 10+ concurrent sessions per slot.

What is included in conference registration?
Your registration covers admission to all keynote sessions and workshops, plus daily access to the Exhibitor Hall. Certain special events (e.g. Accreditation Tours, Public Policy Breakfast) require additional fees. Hotel stays are not included.

How do I book my hotel stay?
TXAEYC has secured a room block at the Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Round Rock. Use the official conference booking link HERE to reserve at discounted rates.

Do I need to be a member to receive the reduced registration rate for NAEYC/TXAEYC members?
Yes. Member rates apply to those with an active Individual NAEYC/TXAEYC membership. Click Join or Renew NAEYC Membership | NAEYC to join or renew today. If you recently joined or renewed, allow several days for membership status to update.

If I am a member where do I find my NAEYC/TXAEYC member number?
Your member ID is located on your membership card and in your online account header. If you can’t locate it, contact Sheila Peevey at ([email protected]).

Can I get a refund if I cancel my registration?
Registration fees are non‑refundable. You may substitute another attendee for a $10 processing fee, as long as it’s done before the substitution deadline (TBD).

Can I bring my kids into sessions?
No. The conference setting is for adults only. Only nursing infants are permitted in sessions.
