The bachelor degree scholarship recipients working towards an associate degree in child development or early childhood education.  Eligible degree plans include Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Human Development and Family Studies, or an equivalent.  T.E.A.C.H. can also support the Early Childhood – 3rd grade degree plan.  Teacher licensure or certification fees are not eligible for scholarship funding.

Scholarship recipients are required to be supported by their employer.  Your sponsoring employer will complete part of the application and commit to covering a portion of the cost for each scholarship model.

TEACH covers 90% of the cost of 1-2 classes per semester.  Scholarships run on a one-year contract and include 3 semesters.  During that contract year, bachelor degree recipients must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours.  The sponsoring employer and recipient each cover 5% of tuition and books.

Scholarship contracts are renewable each year if recipients fulfill scholarship requirements and continue to meet eligibility requirements.  The scholarship recipient agrees to remain employed at their program for a specific period time at the completion of each scholarship contract.  Scholarship recipients are eligible for financial supports including travel stipends each semester, contract completion awards and employment commitment awards.
